PES Manager - Event - Battle Challenge - Tips to win 5 times

Find updated tips on PES Manager Collection at http://www.clanofdaddies.com/?s=pes+manager

1. If you get 100 or 150 base points, after you win the match, click cancel and go to the points calculation. It is not worthwhile to spend your tickets on the next multiplier.

2. After getting at least 200 base points and winning the first match, look carefully at your next opponent. You will be faced with some info before you decide to challenge or take the points and go.

1. The Captain Badge
2. Current League he is in
3. Last Grand Prix ranking
4. Emblem
5. Name of the team
6. Current level
7. Ranking (not sure if its daily or total)

So lets use this guy as a gauge

1. The Captain Badge
His captain badge is NDS Brazil which is from the first NDS/NDG which was during the world cup back in Jul/Aug.

2. Current League he is in
So what was this guy doing with his team from Jul till now? Nothing. That's why he is still at Div 2

3. Last Grand Prix ranking
Last Grand Prix was around 2-3 weeks and was before the Frog event. So this guy is so bad that he got relegated from Div 1 to Div 2

4. Emblem
But he is still playing occasionally since he have the Frog Emblem from the Frog event.

5. Name of the team
If you face any teams like [HKG], [EDWM] you should really think hard about challenging them. Teams with the default team name are also tricky.

6. Current level
Jul till now still level 95? Nuff said.

7. Ranking (not sure if its daily or total)
He is still playing since he is on the ranking.

Most probably this team is a 2nd team of another account and only used to farm 5*Star Badges. You can expect at least 4 5*Star Badges (from Crown Challenge + Training Camp) but I don't forsee his badges are being trained to max.

Conclusion - I will challenge him

And here are the result.

His line up. As expected, 3-4 5*Star Badges.
2-1 at HT was a bit worrying. But my right back sealed the win.
So is it possible to win all 5 matches? YES! Look at my points from Day 1. Don't be disheartened because I know this event looks like another event for the users who pay. And why shouldn't Konami reward them? They are their paymaster. So stop complaining.

Know thy enemy well and you will never lose - your points

Btw I lost my first game before which was a HKG opponent. So it's totally random and I cannot cancel the first game. And the worst thing is that I got a 500 Base Point. Sad day.

PES Manager - Campaign - Attack the Frog

Find updated tips on PES Manager Collection at http://www.clanofdaddies.com/?s=pes+manager

So after getting dirty on the field with Elly clones in the Training Camp event, now we are faced with Frog mascots. I gotta say Konami is indeed creative. I'm sure our sweet, sweaty Elly is underneath that mascot. Just wondering what is she wearing under such a hot suit playing football.

Before we go into the strategy, here are some things you should know about our new opponent Ippei Posse aka the Frog and what Konami told us.

1. The frog appears after you complete a challenge match. Blue background means normal frog. Orange background means super frog.
2. After you defeat the frog, you will get a chest ranging from wooden to rainbow. The higher the level the frog, the better the chest.
3. The chests gives better rewards according to their rarity.
4. Bandiera badges (BDR) deals significantly more damage than normal badges to the frog.
5. The game displays the damage from each player under "Selection". You need to play the players to deal the damage.

Here is what we have found out after playing.

1. The level of the frog DOES NOT guarantee you a rarer chest. Defeating a lvl 9 Super Frog may also give you a copper box [Happens many times to me]. This is totally random.
2. Getting a silver box may not give you a better reward than a copper box. This is totally random. At times (mostly) the copper box may yield a 3*Star coach badge while a wooden box yield the same. Again, this is also random.

So as you can see from 1 and 2, it is very difficult to get a good reward from the boxes after the match. But you will see your funds rise from 1 million to 3 million easily.

3. You will still get Ippei points even if you lose or draw the match. You will lose out on the goal difference bonus.
4. The Ippei points does not differ much when you use your GP to attack it. If you are being awarded 20,000 points for 10 GP, you will get around 60, 000 points for 30 GP. So check your total possible damage before committing all your GP into attacking the frog.
5. Ippei points does differ from normal and super frog but not not differ from the levels. This means that defeating a lvl 1 frog and lvl 6 frog shows very very slight difference.
6. A level 2 frog may defeat or draw with you while you thrash a level 6 frog. Still happens to me but since the Ippei points are still being awarded, I'm ok with this.
7. A COST 15 lvl 1  BDR badge can deal around 5,000 damage. This is higher than most 4*Star badge damage.
8. You do not need to play the BDR badges to get the bonus damage. The game automatically chooses the top 11 badges with the highest damage to attack the frog.
9. The higher the level of the Super frog, the lesser time you have to defeat it. A level 9 Super Frog only gives you 2 hours to defeat it. If you have 100,000 damage or less, it is impossible to defeat it without using EBs. So free players do watch out.

Objective

There are 3 objective (rewards) that you can play for

1. Ranking
2. Personal Ippei points
3. Boxes

1. Ranking

This is definitely reserved for top players and most likely paid players. There is nothing wrong for Konami to reward the people that are paying for EBs right?

The only advise I can give here is to check and make sure keep all your BDR badges and level them up to deal more damage.

Since the strategy is all about who has the most EBs, I shall not go into this.

I was in the top 1000 on the first day and was very motivated to play. Now, I'm out of the 10,000 ranking and my only hope of a good reward is from the boxes.

2. Personal Ippei points

The early rewards are good and you should go for them before you switch to the 3rd objective. Base on point 4 and 5, if I use 40 GP on a lvl 1 frog, I will get the same Ippei points as a lvl 6 frog. So I will need a minimum of 43 GP to start. Use the lowest GP match (3GP) to get Ippei to appear. Once it appears, use 40 GP for x5 damage to it.

3. Boxes

Since all the boxes and prizes are random, that means that I can still get a lousy reward from a silver/gold box. But that also means I can get a rainbow box from a low level frog. So what we need is to get as many boxes as possible to raise our odds.

The reason why the first match is 0 GP is because we have already used up some GP to find the frog and not a discount that Konami is giving. This means that Konami expects us to use 10 GP or less to find the frog. For me, I rotate between the 3 and 4 GP matches and takes around 3 games for the frog to appear. Once to frog appears, I can easily defeat it with 0 GP. So far my best box is gold while some forum claimed that they got a RAINBOW box (but only a 4*Star Ticket Draw) when defeating the lvl 2 Super Frog. This may also be true as the event Cat Raffle rewards are also base on luck and low level teams can still get a CLS or 5*Star badge.

Once you get a Super frog, use 40 GP to hit it. This will help boost your Ippei points if you need it for the next reward under Ippei points.

Warning

If you left one more bar to get your next super frog, do not use hard challenge matches. You may get a high level Super frog with 1.2 Million stamina while you only able to deal 100,000 damage. Even if you use EBs (min 3) to defeat it, you may still end up with a copper box.

PES Manager - Campaigns - PES Training Camp feat Elly FC

Find updated tips on PES Manager Collection at http://www.clanofdaddies.com/?s=pes+manager

PES Training Camp

3 Sep'14 to 10 Sep'14 0059AM (GMT)
*Extended to 12 Sep with 1 more 5*Star Badge Prize Draw

This is one of the best campaigns so far as the users can choose their rewards base on their priorities. Either opt for training your star players badges if you are already satisfied with your line up, training up Ultra Badges, or simply getting your first 5*Star Badge.

Here are some tips for the campaign.

1. Never play against the team that is similar or stronger than you. Your GPs are very important during this campaign. There is no point 'gambling' for higher Camp Points (CP) as the difference is very minimal.

Example

Rookies matches nets you 250 CP for just 10 GP. And you should be winning these matches 100%. But if you go for Regulars matches at 400 CP for 15 GP and with a chance of losing, it's not worth it.

Using 30 GPs as a gauge
3 Rookie matches gives you 750 CP (which you probably gonna win)
2 Regular matches give you 800 CP (but if you lose 1 match, you have wasted 15 GP and 250CPs for gambling an additional 50 CP)

2. Choose your opponents carefully. The captain badges and tier says a lot your opponent.

3*Star Badges - Issit a ploy to attract us to challenge him? He may have 10 other 4*Star Badges. And 99% he does not.

Old NDG/NDS Badges - If the opponent has a BRA or NED and still lying in Div 2 or 3, this means that he did not strengthen his team for  a long time. Challenge him for an easy win.

Captain Badges - Remember your first prize draw? Who are the strong and weak 4*Star Badges that you come across. If you are choosing to challenge ST badges, make sure they are not COST 20+ Badges such as Adebayor, Immobile, etc. If not they will be scoring against you. I typically choose DF and GK badges as their team skills or special skills are not so devastating.

3. If you are unhappy with your current list of opponents, click the tabs again to refresh your opponents.

4. Focus your points on your objective. If you are aiming for the 5*Star Prize Draw (50,000CP), don't use your CPs until you get your objective. There is still a good early reward without redeeming your CPs at 10,000 CP for a 4*Star Prize Draw.

5. Base on my last Training Camp campaign, I was able to nett slightly lesser than 70,000CPs playing Rookies matches all the way.

6. Link your campaign to your Academy rewards.

Eg. Train 5 players to Level 50 and get 1 4*Star Prize reward. If you are left with 1 or 2 badges very near to level 50, don't forget to use this reward to get another star player badge.

7. Elly FC appearance seems to be more frequent when I am less than 10 GPs. Let me know if it happens to you as well.

8. Get the after match bonuses. These are huge and can rack up from 500 CP to 2000 CP. Normal bonuses includes 2*Star Assistant Coach Badges, 100 CP, 100 FP.

In summary, though my main account can get 100% wins from the Elite Matches, my other account lead by 10,000 CP and got the 5*Star Prize Draw first by playing the Regular Matches. Mainly because of the additional bonuses such as 500 CP and 2000 CP that pops up more times than Elite Matches.

Forum and other players also commented that the Regular Matches are better base on the first Training Camp.

Training Camp Extended - The race for 50K CP in 48 hours

Konami then surprised all of us by throwing an additional 5*Star Prize Draw during the extension of the Training Camp. After getting my first 5*Star, I used my points for training and was left with less than 10,000 CPs. With the use of EBs (3) and 1 promotion to the next level with only 2 days, I was left 49,148 CP. The max I could get without any bonus was only 720 CP (incl Energy Boost). Which means I still miss the mark. But Elly popped out at the last minute and I managed to get the 2nd 5*Star Prize Draw just in time (before 9am).

I LOVE YOU ELLY!!!!
My reward. Just in time for me to replace Pogba

What a heart stopping end to the training camp and in the future I will definitely not use my points until the end of the Training Camp.

Moving on to the next event and looking forward to the next Training Camp.
