PES Manager - Get Four 4*Star Players for FREE before you reach level 10

Yes you heard me right! Here’s how.

Get your 3*Star Ticket Draw (Before you reach level 5). Find a user-code online (616-886-182 already max out my 10 invites anyway) and get your 3 star ticket draw in your messages. Do not use your other account user code as if you do not get a 4*Star Player, quit and start a new game. (Read here for the reason.) With some luck, you’ll get your 2^nd 4*Star Player.

Do not change your formation at this point as most probably you will not have enough Team Cost (100).

Start playing and complete your challenge matches. Do not play special matches as they will fast track your progress and you will not be able to recover you GPs fast enough. You should be able to reach level 10 easily in around and hour.

+1 EB = Clear your 1^st Challenge Match during Tutorial

+1 EB = Log In Bonus in Messages

+1 EB = Clear 2^nd Challenge Set (Change Formation to include your 2^nd 3*/4*Star Player and set your Team Skills)

+1 EB = Clear 3^rd Challenge Set

+1 EB = Train 1 Level 10 Player. You should have at least 20 Cards for training. If not, use your 2000 Friend Points for Normal Draw.  Use them on your star player. Get you reward in the Academy.

Use your EBs and draw your next star player. Hopefully your luck continues to run and you will have 3 4*Star Players now.

+1 EB = Clear 4^th Challenge Set

+1 EB = Clear 5^th Challenge Set

+1 EB = Clear 6^th Challenge Set

+1 EB = Clear 7^th Challenge Set

+1 EB = Get 5 Crowns by getting all the player cards 5 times and redeem your EB in the Academy.

You should take less than 50 mins and should end around Level 9. All these can be done without stopping and waiting for the GP to regenerate. Use your remaining 5 GP to play the Skill Matches and propel yourself up to Level 10 if you are claiming the 3 EBs in your main account.

PES Manager - The importance of your first badge

When you start a new game, you get a 4*Star player draw with unlimited retries if you are not happy with the badge you get. How smooth your initial journey will be depends on your first badge. Since  you do not have the luxury of choosing your badges in your future draws, retry as many times until you find your preferred badge. Personally I prefer non-EPL players for a start due to the ugly grey jerseys. (Licensing issues)

Which one looks nicer on your homepage?

Positions - Always go for FW badges with COST 20 or 1200 as they will help you with the goal scoring and EPs in the early games. But some FWs like Pedro and (Iker) Muniain are wingers. They can’t help much at a start. But in the later game, you need them if you are playing 4-3-3.

Club - The player’s club is also an important factor during training as the multiplier (x1.5, x2) makes a huge difference when you are using the 5*Star Head Coach Badge. Eg. Will you be willing to sacrifice a 4*Star Barca badge to train another Barca star badge?

Team Skills – For a start, look out for attacking team skills like Full Steam Ahead (FW) or Inside Track (MF) which has a ‘B’ skill but nets you 10% increase in offence. Mid game you will still be able to upgrade them with a 4*Star Team and Coach Badge and be on your way to train up an Ultra Badge.

Special Skills – If you are planning to train an Ultra Badge early on, aim for a ‘B’ Team Skill and ‘C’ Special Skills Badge. Volley and headers are useless if you do not have another player with the Early Cross skill. I found Block Buster a ‘C’ skill useful for hitting long shots. Honda is the only 4*Star Player (not incl GK) I’ve seen with a useful ‘A’ Special Skill. He can activate his skill more than 4 times in a game early on which helps in goals and EP.

TEAM COST - This is the magic number when comes to playing your badges. Even if you have 11 4*Star Players, you will not be able to field all of them if your TEAM COST is only 100. Through the promotions, your TEAM COST will be raised and you can add in higher valued badges.

COST – 4*Star Badges start at 15 and end at 24. Although it is ideal that the COST be low so as to allow other badges to be in the team, it may be the case where a high COST player may not have a high parameter. Some NDG/NDS badges have a lower COST compared to their normal badges which is one of the benefits.

De Gea has a lower cost but much higher parameter and skills than Toni

 So finally after 30 mins of retries, hopefully you can finally get off to your first game.
